The Delhi Wheelchair Cricket Association (DWCA) is a pioneering organization dedicated to empowering  individuals with physical disabilities through the dynamic and inclusive sport of wheelchair cricket. 

CHAIRPERSON

Ms. Shikha Chaturvedi

Ms. Shikha Chaturvedi is a dynamic force of inspiration and a dedicated advocate for disability inclusion through sports. Although not personally affected by disability, she has made it her life’s mission to uplift differently-abled youth by promoting the spirit of sportsmanship and enabling personal growth.

Born in the small town of Sonbhadra in Uttar Pradesh, Ms. Chaturvedi has always been passionate about public service and social justice. With a natural flair for communication and public speaking, she lends a powerful voice to the cause of social upliftment.

She is carrying a vision to provide strong, inclusive, and transparent leadership that fosters collaboration, encourages innovation, and ensures the effective achievement of Delhi Wheelchair Cricket Association’s mission and strategic objectives. her goal is to create a positive environment where all voices are heard,
responsibilities are clearly defined, and progress is consistently monitored and communicated.

To create an inclusive sporting environment that encourages and enables individuals with physical disabilities to participate in cricket, build self-esteem, and inspire the larger community through their achievements.

To be a leading force in the development of wheelchair cricket in India, and to use sports as a tool for empowerment, equality, and positive social change.
